Jappy

An agent that helps make jappy agents.
01what is jappy?

Humans are happy. Agents are jappy.

Jappy is an agent that helps make jappy agents.

A jappy agent is lean, designed for one purpose and that alone, cheap to run, and AI responsible. Jappy helps you make one. Then it belongs to you.

What makes an agent jappy?
Four things. It does one job and nothing beside it. It costs a fraction of the usual ways to get that job done. It can only act within what it was given. And it belongs to the person it was made for.
02the agents

Meet the jappy agents.

Each one lives at its own address and does one job.

Every agent Jappy has helped make, live, with its own name, address and sign-in. Tell Jappy what you need done and it points you at the one that does it.

Which one would run our team's demo day?
Demona. Teams tell her who's showing what and when, and she keeps everyone honest about the day.
03yours

Jappy helps make it. Then it's yours.

Keep customizing it with Jappy, so it stays exactly what you want it to do.

Jappy makes the first version with you. After that the agent is yours: change what it does, add what's missing, retire what isn't needed, all by talking to Jappy. Every change is a version you own.

Can I change how it behaves later?
Yes, as often as you like. Tell me what should be different and I capture it as a new version of your agent; when it's ready it replaces the old one. Nothing changes that you didn't ask for.
04lean

One purpose. Nothing else.

Lean by design: everything in it serves the job.

A jappy agent is built for one job, so there's nothing to configure, nothing to learn, and nothing it does badly because it was an afterthought.

Why not one agent that does everything?
Because an agent that does everything does nothing well, and you can't tell what it will do next. One job means you know exactly what it does, it's cheap to run, and little can go wrong.
05cost

Pay for what you use.

Billing is token based. No hosting or storage charges, for now.

You pay for the AI work your agent actually does, metered by tokens. No seats, no setup, no monthly minimum. A fraction of what it costs otherwise: someone's hours, a per-seat subscription, a custom build.

What does one cost?
A fraction of what you'd pay otherwise. The bill is tokens: the AI work your agent does when someone talks to it. Idle, it costs nothing. Tell me what you use for this today and I'll tell you what goes away.
06ai responsible

AI responsible.

It can only do what it was given, and it says so when it can't.

Every action a jappy agent takes goes through a tool that checks who you are on the server, not in the conversation. Nothing about the agent changes at runtime. Outside its job it stops, and it never invents what it can't look up.

What if someone talks it into something?
They can talk all they like. The tools listen to the account, not the conversation. It won't do what it wasn't given, and it says so plainly.
07where it lives

Wherever you are.

Web, phone, through Jappy, and as your own app when white-labelled.

A jappy agent is a complete thing of its own: its own address, the same on a phone, reachable through Jappy, and its own app under your name when white-labelled. It signs people in itself; nobody needs an account with Jappy to use it.

Do I need an account with Jappy?
No. Each agent signs you in itself, usually with your phone number and a code. I only need to know you if you want an agent made.
08kinds

A twin. A community. A teacher.

Any job that's one job.

A twin of you that answers what you're tired of answering. One that runs a community: sign-ups, waitlists, who's coming. One that teaches, one question at a time. One that keeps a schedule and keeps people to it.

Could you make one for my bakery?
Probably. Tell me the one job it would do, in a sentence, and I'll tell you what it would look like.
09want one?

Want one?

Accounts are by invitation for now.

Tell Jappy your name, how to reach you, and the one job the agent would do. Someone gets in touch. Members sign in and shape it with Jappy.

How do I get one?
Give me your name, a way to reach you, and the one job. Someone will get in touch. If you're already a member, sign in and we'll shape it together.
